It’s a curated unique experience. You sign-up for an event without expectations. You don’t know what will happen at the event. The hypothesis is that attendees will be more present and engaged without expectations. You will receive logistical information in enough time to be there on time. Most events will incorporate learning, creating, seeing, or tasting something. All events are designed for fun and joy, nothing scary or strange.

The hypothesis is that when we reduce expectations and show up vulnerably, we are able to be present and obtain more joy.

In our day-to-day lives, we are engrossed in our digital devices, obtaining our novelty brain hit from our phones. These novelty labs will study the happiness level of participants (if they opt-in) to learn about reduced expectations, wellbeing, social connections, and joy creation.
